Get Support
You don't have to quit alone. People who quit with a healthy support system in place will have a greater chance of success over time.

The more support you get, the easier your quit will be. Go public and ask for help:

  • Tell your friends, family and coworkers that you are quitting and need their support. Click here for 10 ways that  friends and family can help.
  • Call the AlbertaQuits Helpline to enroll in our stop smoking program. Cessation Counsellors are available 8 am to 8 pm seven days a week to help you develop a plan and manage the cravings.
  • Register with AlbertaQuits Online and join our global community to support your quitting.
  • Choose a Quit Buddy – someone you can call in a crisis and who will support your quitting.
