Friday Pledge
Good morning all
Happy Friday!!!!!
TGIF - I am running late today so here to pledge and run. No way I will be smoking no matter what life brings my way. I worked hard to get here and addiction will never again remove my hard work. Freedom Road is the place to be and there I will stay. I offer my hand to the next winning quitter joining me in kicking ash to the curb today.
Have a great day - see you Sunday!

Hope it is a good kind of busy Terry. Smoking was such a bad deal. My goal is to give myself the things that I thought the cigarette gave me. In reality I paid the big money just to prevent withdrawal. Twice I was stuck in a airport and could not smoke. I was miserable. I have it in my power to never have that happen again. Freedom is the way to go. I am healthy and wealthy enough to travel because I quit smoking. I pledge to be aware of that. Smoking took more from me then I care to remember. Not just me but almost all the people I love. Grandmas stroke at age 52 took her voice. No one even mentioned smoking. The connection was not taken seriously. Today I get to listen to the rattle in the chest of my spouse. I take that connection seriously. Smoking is a bad deal. I will keep my pledge.

Mornin all! Smoking is a bad deal. Someone told me the other day that Marlboro aren’t going to make cigs anymore? Also heard Philip Morris moving away from tobacco and concentrating on vaping products. The old gig is up… it’s time to fool people with a new gig. A-holes. Cigs will not ruin my day today.

Wow!  Vaping was never appealing to me and it certainly is no more socially-acceptable than smoking anywhere.  The younger bunch is the target group I would guess.  I was young & foolish for quite a while!
Today I pledge zero smoking for me!  In less than a week, I hit 1 1/2 yrs.  The same point I was at when I completely ditched my first quit in 2019.  This time I am smarter :)

Quitting during COVID
Is it a good idea to quit smoking or vaping during the COVID-19 pandemic?
