I started going to my yoga class 4-5 times a week about 3 weeks prior to my quit date. Yoga is all about breathing and by going to so many classes per week I found that I couldn't wait for my "quit date" so moved it up by three weeks. The yoga has definitely helped me stay the course. There are cravings for sure but focusing on my breathing has helped me work through them. I strongly urge anyone trying to quit to increase their exercise level - even if it's just a daily walk - whatever you enjoy. It helps - not only with wanting to not smoke again but also helps keep any weight gain in check while your body adjusts to being a non-smoker. Good luck everyone!
