I think I had my first drag when I was about 8. I am the youngest of 4, I caught them smoking, threatened to tell ended up joining them instead. I started smoking full time around 16 when I got my first job. I am now 50 and I quit 3 weeks ago today. I figured out it's a life changing process. I can't believe how much more air I can suck in when I take a deep breath. My inspiration for quitting is my mother who passed away Jan of this year from lung cancer, she was 72. The first little while is very hard to get through but it seems to be easing. I cannot believe I wasted all those years sitting around smoking. I know now what a waste of time it was and wish I never started in the first place. With the information available to people now a days I do not know why anyone would want to start a dirty, stinking life threatening habit like smoking!!!!! Adios...I don't miss you one little bit!!! Koodoo's to me.
