Quitting smoking is hard work and when you succeed it is important to reflect on your achievements. Set some rewards now and be sure to celebrate your wins along the way to smoke-free living.

List the many ways you will reward yourself.

  • You've saved some money so consider indulging in a special purchase to remind yourself of your success.
  • Your body is getting healthier so use it. Go for a beautiful hike. Explore a new area.
  • Indulge yourself in little ways every day: an extra long soak in the bathtub, a new book, a visit with a friend, a movie. You've earned it.
  • Giving back feels really good. Do a random act of kindness. Help someone on our forums. If you have time, volunteer for a good cause.
  • Revive an old hobby or find a new one. Sign up for a course. Take up an instrument again. Or try something totally new.
