I attended my third QuitCore meeting tonight. That’s where I learned about this site. I’m feeling more confident with all the supports there and here.

Good morning Hippiewych. There are so many supports in place from AB Health. I really enjoyed the Quit Core meetings. Hang out with us for a while. We may be a good fit. There is so much knowledge from many different personalities. It's a wonderful place to be. You Can Do This!

Hi there. I just joined. I am quitting on Monday, June 17/19. I'm trying to get into senior's place. They're hesitating to let me live in this one place because they want the seniors to have quit at least 9 mo. ago. I've been on Champix for almost two weeks now. I'm all packed yet after two weeks since my first interview, they haven't made up their minds (AHC). I'm really worried.

Welcome Teeko! First and foremost is your decision to quit. Best move you will ever make. As you have found out smoking limits you in almost every part of your life. Now it seems they don't want smokers in seniors facilities and you can't blame them. Whatever decision AHC comes up with is really irrelevent. Just quit smoking first and everything else will begin to fall into place. Champix was my savior as well. I can't describe how much better life is without tobacco. You got this!!

I agree. Quit Smoking first, and everything else absolutely will fall in to place.
