Mrs. Tarbox is such an inspiration. She spoke at my school when I was in grade 7 and her message has stuck with me for many years - I'm twenty five years old and have never smoked a cigarette because of how influential Mrs. Tarbox's speech was. I wish there was some way to tell her family how loved she still is across Alberta and how she has helped turn a generation of young people away from smoking. I'm sure they know how amazing she was, but I would love to be able to tell them how amazing I, a stranger, thinks their wife and mother was, too. My condolences to Mr. Tarbox and Mackenzie. You should be so proud to have known her.
