QuitCore support groups

Join QuitCore, AlbertaQuits group support program led by trained Quit Counsellors to help tobacco users quit.

How it works

As of March 15th, 2020 the in-person QuitCore groups were suspended to follow social distancing recommendations from Alberta Health.

Starting in September 2020 Alberta Health Services (AHS) will be offering the NEW Virtual version of QuitCore using the secure encrypted Zoom platform as the standard version of the group.

Virtual QuitCore is a FREE group support program that provides Albertans (18+) with the tools and skills they need to quit using tobacco. The program consists of a set of six 90-minute online virtual sessions guided by a trained facilitator.  Join a group online through your smartphone, tablet or computer to share your stories, learn new coping strategies and celebrate milestones together.

*Note you will need a device with a video camera, audio, and a secure internet connection.

To check dates, days and times of upcoming Virtual QuitCore groups visit the Support Groups page. If you find an upcoming group you would like to attend, subscribe below – or call the AlbertaQuits Helpline to register.
