QuitCore support groups

Join QuitCore, AlbertaQuits group support program led by trained Quit Counsellors to help tobacco users quit.

How it works

As of March 15th, 2020 QuitCore groups have suspended to follow social distancing recommendations from Alberta Health. Please check our other AlbertaQuits support programs i.e. Helpline, Text, and local supports.

QuitCore is a FREE group support program that provides Albertans (18+) with the tools and skills they need to quit using tobacco. The program consists of six 90-minute sessions over a period of up to nine weeks at various locations around the province. Join a group in your community to share your stories, learn new coping strategies and celebrate milestones together.

We are currently piloting a fully virtual version of QuitCore using a secure encrypted Zoom platform licensed by AHS (Alberta Health Services). Watch this page for available virtual groups you can register for starting mid-July, 2020.

To check dates, locations, and times of upcoming QuitCore groups visit our Support Groups page. If you find an upcoming group in your community you would like to attend, subscribe below. If you don't find an upcoming group please check the other supports we have available.
